Parts were delivered on time and I received many updates on when they would arrive. Parts were packaged very well and were in great condition. I did receive 1 wrong part but called and it was handled very quickly and I had the correct part within a couple days. Nice bumper. Quality looks and feels as good as the original. Same metal gauge and same overall weight. Perfect fit. It took longer to remove the old one (rusted bolts) than to install the new one. Chrome looks nice too.

Unfortunately, we do not ship this part/kit to Hawaii. The option is, if you have a friend or relative residing in the mainland US, you can have it arranged to be sent to their address. Once they receive it, they will have to check for a courier locally thats ships to Hawai directly.

Question: I have a concern on the quality and thickness of the chrome plating and gauge of steel used in bumper. I know that compared to genuine Toyota parts, there tends to have bubbling after a period of time as the rust goes through the chrome. Hi Neil, I'm pleased to assist you. The quality and thickness of the chrome plating and gauge of steel are similar to the factory OEM standards. Chrome, like other metals, reacts when it is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and other elements. The good news is that there are spray paints and polish that can protect the chrome bumper from rust and bubbling. They sell them at most auto parts stores. I hope this is helpful. I bought a step bumper for my 02 Tacoma in July 2020 and it fit on very good and has not bubbled so far. However I live in the Northeast where we get plenty of snow ,Ice ,Etc. Though I am retired and try not to go out when the town spreads all those metal eating chemicals on the road so Its not like I'm commuting every day. All in all for the price Toyota charges verses the price this company charges with a full warranty no matter if you damage the bumper yourself or have an accident they will replace it. I don't think Toyota would do that and you also can't beat the price from car parts . I would buy one again !

I purchased this bumper and installed on a 2004 Tacoma without issues. The weight is as factory-installed bumper and the chrome has held up perfectly. I think you will be happy with the quality.

Question: I have a tacoma 2003 2.7 ltr 4wd stand shift the bed is a stepside SR5 extended cab (2 dr). the bumper is painted now, but chrome would be ok I think, will this fit?David P. / May 26, 2021

Upon checking, we currently do not have in stock a direct-fit chrome bumper for the stepside matching the vehicle. You may also want to consider purchasing a coolant anti-freeze. I intalled one on my 2003 tacoma 4wd and it fit fine. Check the new brackets (bolts,brackets, etc) to see if everything threads/fits ok on the new stuff before throwing anything away - I ended using my old brackets because of a threading issue on one of the new brackets but it worked fine with the old brackets.

I do not believe the bumper will work. The fleetside bumper sits lower and taper towards the front on the ends. Look up swapping stepside for fleeetside bed tacoma world and there is a side by side photo of the 2 different beds.

Bumper fits perfectly I put the brackets on the bumper first before I bolted to frame . Took 10 minutes to put on . But taking off old bumper was a chore.
