Plug and Play. Almost Identical to the factory part. I did pull one of the pointed pins from the old lamp assembly that connect with the body. Switched out with the larger compression twist pin that this came with. Other than that tiny switch of pin nothing else to do. The twist pin it came with probably would have worked as well. I just would have had to remove the grommet from the body for it to fit. It was one or the other.
