Answered by Jeonino E. / Sun, Jan 23I have a Sierra 1500. The tailgate had all the mechanicals installed and adjusted. All I did was slide it into the frame pivot and attach the provided steel straps. No adjustment necessary. Please note, this part is primed. After the test fit I removed it and painted it in the shop before final installation.
