The replacement tailgate is just what I needed. Delivery came quick. Had a slight bent corner that was easily knocked back out, probably during shipping. I would recommend Car Parts . Com to anyone needing replacement parts.

This is a primed finish tailgate shell. All the parts that go in this part are sold separately. This fits 2004-2008 Ford F-150 STX, styleside (fleetside), new body style.

It has the original tailgate that needs replacement. However, all of my dimensions are smaller than what your website states. My tailgate width is closer to 64 inches and the depth is more like 3-4 inches, not 10.17. The body style is a typical F150 (fleetside or styleside) supercab.Richard T. / Sep 10, 2022

Answered by Aldrin P. / Sat, Sep 10If it doesn’t fit or is damaged in any way they will send you a replacement lickety split. Best customer service I’ve ever encountered. Mine was dinged in the corners because the box wasn’t well padded. But it was a pretty standard depth tailgate.

Hi Brian,
This would just be the tailgate assembly panel(hollow-no hardware inside) only. The tailgate cables on each side are not included.

Answered by Jeonino E. / Thu, Mar 04It does not. It also does not come with any internal latch assembly parts so they need to come from your old tailgate or be purchased, including the latch handle and the locking pivoting latches on the 2 ends and connecting rods to the handle assembly.
