Hi Gary, I'm glad to assist you. This part fits the 3.6L engine as our fitment confirms. This is not compatible with the 6.0L and 6.2L engines for the GT and GXP submodels of your 2009 Pontiac G8. As per checking, this item does not come with the gasket and installation hardware (bolts). We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership.
