Answered by Andrew B. / Wed, Oct 12Tie rod ends without grease zerts are pre greased and work well. I prefer parts that I can service myself. A person can over fill their parts and ruin seals if not careful

Answered by Shawn P. / Wed, Oct 12Some manufacturers make them with sealed sockets, while others have open sockets that must be greased periodically. Both are strong components. It's common.
