Parts kit for the timing chain replacement was complete with sealant and timing cover gasket. The plastic tensioner guides as well. Only a few miles since install but engine runs well..

The part was right, but just after 5 miles of driving it seems the cam phasers went out. I don't understand why must have just been faulty been. So needless to say they will be coming off again. Well when I come up with the extra cash

Question: I have read conflicting information about the torque specs on the phaser bolts in this kit.  Do we torque to 30 ftlbs +90 degrees, or do we torque to 90 ftlbs?Ben L. / Mar 26, 2023
