I have bought many parts from them. Everyone fit just like they said they would. They all came in a very short time. Great company and people to work with. I recommend them all the time to all my friends.

I orded a Doorman transfere case motor for my 1999 F-250 and it was only $133.00. Price was great and my part came in four days. The doorman tranfere case motor bolted right up...It was plug and play and fixed the 4x4 engagment!!! This is the 2nd time I got my parts from carparts.com with my 1st part being a original equipment alternator for my corolla. My experience has been great w carparts.com both times. I got great parts at a great price and the parts showed up at my door fast!!!

Question: My truck doesn’t engage 4wd it worked yesterday no grinding has never been any problem could this be the problem ?Kevin W. / Aug 22, 2021
Hi Kevin, I'm glad to assist you. One main reason for the 4WD not to engage is a bad 4WD actuator switch. The actuator of a 4-wheel-drive is designed to lock the differential once the driver engages 4WD by means of a switch from inside the cabin. The 4WD axle actuator is housed on the differential and contains the gears and shift fork required to lock the differential once it receives the signal. The part number you need is 600-105, by Dorman brand. Click the link below to order today and grab our lowest sale price offer backed up by a durable quality and a limited lifetime warranty for this part. I hope this helps. Happy shopping.

the reason mine wasn't engaging was the ground wire under the spare tire wasn't making a good ground...took a long time to solve that problem

Answered by Paul S. / Sun, Aug 22Question: my 2011 f150 goes in to 4 wheel drive just fine but a wrench comes up on the dash any ideas?Mark R. / Dec 18, 2024
Hi Mark, thank you for reaching out. Since the wrench light on a 2011 Ford F-150 indicates a problem with the powertrain or 4-wheel drive system and can be triggered by several different issues, we highly recommend that a certified mechanic diagnose your vehicle to pinpoint the part needing replacement. Have a nice day.
