The empty pin location is for the green wire that comes out of the transfer case. When you remove the old motor you need to insert a small screwdriver in the square next to the pin for the green wire and gently pull on the green wire. It should come out and then insert in the empty spot on the new motor. I have a 2017 Ram 2500 Big Horn and swapped it today

To check the fitment please use our Vehicle Selector — which can be found towards the top of the homepage as well as all categories, search results, and product pages — can help verify if a part will fit your specific application. To enter your application, simply select your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine type and click “Go.” Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.

Hi Monty, thank you for reaching out. Upon checking, there are multiple designs of motors made for that vehicle. Can you tell us the original part number of your motor so we can check if we have it available?
