Hi Wendell, I'm pleased to assist you. No, the transfer case switch does not engage or disengage the vacuum solenoid. The transfer case switch is responsible for activating the 4WD system, while the vacuum solenoid controls the vacuum pressure to engage or disengage the front axle. The switch and the solenoid are two separate components responsible for different functions in the 4WD system.
