Unfortunately, this is only for a 6.5 foot bed length. We do not carry the one for an 8 foot bed length.

Hi Don, thank you for reaching out! Upon checking the fitment details, there is no mention of this part not working for a 4WD model. It will not work for models with 4-wheel steering, which is different from 4WD. On some models, it also requires a fleetside metal bed.
