I had the dreaded P0441 and P0446 on my '99 Corolla. After reading online forums, watching YouTube videos, and doing diagnostic tests to rule out other faulty parts, I removed the charcoal canister underneath the vehicle. Sure enough, the vent valve (as well as the other metal parts, such as the bracket and any retaining bolts) was badly rusted and actually fell apart in my hand! Rather than spending $200+ on a new canister assembly, I decided to spend the $60 on just the vent valve. It was a direct fit. I took the time to repaint the bracket for rust prevention, and replaced rubber hoses for good measure; then reinstalled everything. I also cleared the code, and two months later it has yet to return. CarParts was cheaper than RockAuto on this one, but the shipping was a bit slower than I would've liked. 5 stars for the product, 4 stars for CarParts.
