Question: Could I just spray them clean and put the same ones back?Owen S. / Jan 13, 2022
Hello! It's possible that cleaning them may help for a while, but usually if dirt has jammed the solenoid, then the internals will be scored and will fail soon after.

Well can they be cleared and still work

Question: If the computer detected a problem with intake exhaust and camshaft actuator how do you know witch one has malfunctioned? 2011 Buick regal 2.4 literWayne D. / Nov 16, 2020
Hello! It's possible that both solenoids were jammed by debris or dirty oil, but it's also possible that there is a wiring issue that is preventing both solenoids from functioning properly. I would recommend having your vehicle diagnosed by a certified technician so you don't end up purchasing the wrong parts.
