Question: Can I order just the filler neck? I don’t need the reservoir or the pump.Colton D. / Sep 16, 2020
Hi Colton,
Unfortunately, you can't. This is only manufactured as an assembly with the reservoir and the pump.

Mine worked out perfectly or the whole assembly

Answered by Phillip W. / Sun, Oct 11Question: I just purchased this product at the bottom of it there is a hole what goes there ? A sensor? What can I put there to plug it up without the sensor. My previous resevoir didn’t come with a hole in the bottom of it.kevon B. / Aug 12, 2022
Hi Kevon, I'm glad to assist you. Yes. As noted in the details, this comes with a sensor port hole. That means your original washer reservoir does not have a sensor. We do not have the one with a sensor port hole. You can use a grommet rubber to plug it shut and still use it. I hope this helps.

My truck still had the plug. It needed a pretty good cleaning, but it fit right into place.

Answered by TODD D. / Tue, Apr 18Question: Will this fit a 1996 Toyota Tacoma 2wd the neck looks identical to mine that broke ?Weston N. / Jan 18, 2023
Hi Weston, I'm glad to assist you. No, it won't. We have the correct washer reservoir for the 1996 model available at this link: https://www.carparts.com/washer-reservoir/replacement/rept370507 I hope this helps, and happy shopping.

Did not fit my 03 Tacoma, to be certain, look under your vehicle and check the electrical connection, if the bottle has a hole to the bottom, that is for a fluid level indicator, if you don't have that in your truck, you need a solid bottle no holes and check your electrical connection.

Answered by Dudley A W. / Wed, Jan 18It fit my 97. Only issue was mine had a hole in the bottom that had nothing to fit in it. I had to use an expandable freeze plug. Other than that works great

Answered by Lee W. / Wed, Jan 18Question: I installed the reservoir and the pump makes noise, but not getting fluid. Was there a step I missed? Hooked up original working exit tube.Mike N. / Jun 28, 2021
Hello! Perhaps you just need to keep activating the pump until fluid comes out? I would imagine that all the fluid in the line was drained when replacing the pump.
MD
I had the same problem. I disconnected the hose than connects from the engine bay to the hood, ran the pump to confirm everything was working, and fluid came out. When I reconnected the hose everything worked fine. Perhaps disconnecting the house removed some air from the system. In any event, that worked for me.

Answered by JAMES M. / Wed, Jul 14Like James said, unplug the little hose and let some of the washer fluid drain out and then connect the hose back on. I had the same issue and that worked for me, probably too much pressure in the line.
