The rubber vent weatherstrip on both right and left did not fit properly, they are too long. The manufacturer (Fairchild) tech person advised they sometimes need to be cut down. These are supposed to be molded specific to particular vehicles, and cutting will alter the indent and hole placements. I paid to have specific molded weatherstrip, not generic weatherstrip to be cut to fit like they suggested. I found other complaints on the internet stating they received the same Fairchild sets that were too short. If you want factory style replacement, don’t buy these.

Answered by Emmy C. / Wed, Nov 25The door seal i bought from J.C.Whitney were just ok ! The seals are both "short " in length by 2 1/2 " I had to use the "OLD" seals to make up the difference ! The seals are made with the appropreite materials just like the factory parts. If anything they "should be " more than enough and trimable to the size needed to properly fit WITHOUT using a piece of the old seal :-) !
