I would get a flood of water in the cargo area of my truck anytime it rained, now I don't. I like that the new weatherstrip was form fitted around the hinges and wires on my liftgate. Which made it easier to install. I wish someone would have told me I was gonna need to chisel out all the debris that had gathered in the weatherstrip channel before I could install the new weatherstrip.

Question: Does this replace the strip at the top of the rear lift gate window? Need to prevent water dripping into rear luggage area from old brittle gasket. Thanks!William B. / Feb 06, 2023
