This gasket is 90% good. But it doesn't work for all tailgates! The bends on the sealing surface of tailgate expands in some places where the gasket is not thick enough to seal. Doubling up gasket may work for awhile with extra glue but it will eventually fall off probably with rest of gasket. I would be inclined to pay more for something that fits and lasts some.

Went on easy, seal is good at this time. Don't know how long it will last. But overall seems to be just what claimed to be.

Question: Anyone tried this on a 2020 Ford Ranger XLT 4WD Sport ? They have a large gap on sides of the tailgate and no real flat surface on the bed walls for the strip to attach.Sailor / Oct 13, 2020

This tailgate seal is universal and fits most pickup trucks. If another customer has done the installation on a 2020 Ranger XLT Sport, hopefully they can provide more information.
