Above average customer service handling part match errors.Front, Driver Or Passenger Side Wheel Hub, With Bearing, Timken Oe Replacement
3.0/5
I bought two Timken bearings for my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. Customer service made right the part match error. However, now that the new bearings are on the truck, it rides silent and smooth but not impressed with the thinner hub flange that holds the lugs. The OEM Mopar hub was almost twice as thick, so much more substantial, I hope this difference in thickness is inconsequential. Secondly, the ABS sensors are plug and play you would think, I unplugged the OEM part and plugged in the new one effortlessly but now my ABS and BRAKE lights are on continously and I'm having trouble clearing them. I am wondering if the plugs are even compatible even though they fit together well and lock in place, they are a different shape from the OEM plug. So hoping this purchase was not a mistake over buying and installing an original Mopar bearing/ hub assembly. Timken is known for great bearings, but not excited they're made in South Korea as opposed to stateside!!! Maybe this is part of the equation?
