I fixed this regulator a few years ago so I don't remember exactly off the top of my head but from what I do remember everything was included I don't remember having a retro fit the old bolts to the new one, but their normal size run of the mill bolts that even if we're not included you can get them from home Depot. The regulator looks slightly different from the OEM that's in your truck now but it went in and worked completely fine. From what I remember I think there's a little bit more plastic in this piece than the original OEM part I'm pretty sure all the parts were included. Sorry I can't be sure but I hope this helps. The whole installation took me maybe 15 minutes

Question: I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The original window regulator motor housing has three threaded holes that accept bolts to attach it to the inside of the door. I have ordered two of these regulators and neither of them have threaded holes like that. Is this possibly the wrong part, or is the housing supposed to attach to the door some way other than the original bolts?Steve R. / Apr 16, 2022
Hello! The door should have a bracket that the bolts thread into, but if those are missing or damaged, you could try riveting the regulator into place, or adding a nut to the back of the bracket.

I bought this for my 04 and fit fine. The motor housing on this part (the flat steel plate with 3 bolt holes) is bolted to the bracket on the door itself using original bolts. The threaded holes should be on the door

Hi Steve, I'm glad to assist you. This part has fitment information noted. It says, with plastic bracket; hole style; regulator attaches directly to window glass with locator pin and hole. If you do not have this type. This will not fit. But if you have it, this would be compatible. Grab our sale price offer and click the link below to order today. I hope this helps.
