Hello – On most vehicles, the plastic trim must be gently pried upward to disengage it from the door panel. There are special interior trim removal tools available to aid with this portion of the process. Keep in mind, however, there may also be screws or other fasteners holding the trim in place. So, to avoid damaging your car, you should consult a repair manual before attempting to remove the trim or replace the switch.
