I installed this on a 07 Pontiac G6 and it was a direct fit. I used pliers to press the cup onto the original arm coming from the motor. I also greased the plastic cup, so hopefully this will last the next 230k miles I put on my car (unless I try to use my wipers while they're iced to the windshield again).
