Hi Chase, I'm glad to assist you. This wiring cable is for the battery to fuse box connection (just make sure this is the wire you need). The extra little wire on the other end is a ground wire extension. Please check with a vehicle specific service repair manual for that detail or consult with your trusted local auto repair shop about that short wire extension.
