Right fitDurastop Series Brake Master Cylinder
5.0/5
After trying to pick one up at one of the chain parts store that just were not quite right, I decided to get the AC Delco. It was manufactured to the correct specifications. The only difference was the brake fluid reservoir was different. Working good after first month.

Worked well after a peddle arm adjustment.Durastop Series Brake Master Cylinder
4.0/5
Perfect machined fit & easy install. Installed during winter on my car which sat for a few months of real use. Few things: (1) had to adjust the brake peddle arm under dash to get the stroke correct. (2) not sure if from pump or old lines but over the winter developed some organic "floaties" in resevoir. I scooped out few months later in Spring & nothing came back in Summer.

Question: Does this master cylinder have 1/4 brake line inlets?Vince S. / Jan 13, 2023
Hi Vince, I'm pleased to assist you. I have checked the manufacturer's website and there is no detail about the size of the brake line inlet. This is a direct-fit replacement part that would have the same specifications and features as the original part that it replaces, If interested in this brake master cylinder, use the link below to order at 10% off the regular price today while supplies last. Yes, the braided, stainless steel flex lines that thread into the master cylinder are 1/4” diameter with a bubble flare. I would recommend using standard steel line when replacing them, you will need to bend them yourself, and possibly use the fittings from the original lines. It’s also significantly cheaper.

Question: Under dash hydroboost and MC Conflict
'55 Chevy 3100 truck - restomod
Already built bracket to house hydraulic clutch and REMOTE MC ¾” bore, power brake hydroboost and ¾” bore REMOTE MC. I already have 2012-2018 GMC 2500 Savana Van hydroboost unit w/horizontal flange, bolt/holes on 3-1/2" cc. I am unable to find a REMOTE MC ¾” bore to mate with the hydroboost unit. However, I have found several flat cover MC with bore size over 1”. I have already installed the IFS, MII power R&P steering, single piston calipers and a stock pump. The MII steering also requires a pressure reducing valve.
Questions:
1. is there anyway that I can use the larger MC, remove reservoir and make the MC into a REMOTE MC?
2. Do I have a conflict with my MII rack, caliper size and stock pump with a larger MC? How about that pressure reducer valve?
Any options, suggestions will be be greatly appreciated. This is over my head!
