Hi Richard, I'm pleased to assist you. No, this fuel line does not go from the engine to the fuel filter. It is the fuel supply line that runs from the fuel tank to the fuel rail on the engine. The fuel line that goes from the engine to the fuel filter is usually a shorter, rubber hose that is located near the engine block.
