Aside from the fuel pump, there are other parts that may cause the issue. We highly recommend to have the vehicle diagnosed by a certified mechanic to pinpoint what part needs replacement.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Sun, Dec 06there is a filter is the fuel tank called a sump screen, possible that its clogged. But if you are taking the pump out to check the screen I would change the pump too.

Answered by Jordan L. / Sun, Dec 06Mine is a 2002 I think the 2003 is a little different. I found that my charcoal canister was bad also. A lot of black stuff in fuel filter. I replaced everything on mine to get it running.
