Hi William, thank you for reaching out. No, it's not a generic photo. I looked at Toyota's catalog and our straps look identical to theirs. I suggest providing your VIN to a dealer to see if there's something unique about your RAV4.

Answered by Andrew B. / Fri, Jul 15I bought this for my 2004 rav4 base from this website. They fit correctly. I’m fairly confident it would work on the 05 as well since they didn’t change from 04 to 05.
But wear eye protection because I had tons of dirt and rust falling when removing the retaining bolts.
A floor Jack helped to take the weight of the tank after the vehicle was on Jack stands.

Answered by Jason M. / Sat, Jul 16I bought those for our 2004 RAV4 S and they were a perfect fit. I fought there’s any difference between models. We couldn’t get one bolt out so just put a self tapper in next to it. A pretty simple fix if you can get the vehicle up in the air. I actually had one side held up with a motorcycle tie down strap which probably would have lasted forever.
