It was a little bigger than the original tank I had. It still fit perfectly but you’ll probably have to get a bigger screw to hold the straps in place but other than that it was easy to install

Tank was a great fit but longer bolts were needed to secure the tank. should be a notation with product that longer bolts may be needed to install correctly.

Answered by Grace G. / Tue, Jun 07Your original straps WILL be tight if you original tank was less than 22 gallons (I think the smaller tank was 18 gallons). I was able to get this tank, with my smaller original tank’s straps… but it was a struggle.
Years later, I’m very happy with this tank. Good luck.
I refused my original sender, however, this tank DOES have an o-ring and sender lock.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Wed, Jan 25You will need to retro fit an in tank pump with a pump capable of the 60psi needed for injectors, electrical at the tank is sufficient -OR- an inline electric pump with 60 psi. Either choice of pump is just that a choice, the higher pressure requires high pressure fuel lines to replace original factory lines. Generally, if an in tank pump is used, the filter sock inside the tank requires a fuel tank sump for constant fuel access. I hope I helped you in your quest, (origin of the word QUESTION)
