Hi Jeromy, I'm pleased to assist you. If the head gasket doesn't have any markings, you can usually determine the correct orientation by examining the gasket itself. One side of the head gasket may have a coating or treatment that is designed to seal against the cylinder head or engine block. This side of the gasket should face up, towards the cylinder head.
