Hitch is made of heavy gauge steel with quality welds. It weighs about 40 lbs. Packaging was not good: cardboard box was torn in two places and one end of hitch was bent. I was able to straighten with a few good blows from a heavy hammer on my steel table. Not yet installed so I’m not sure how well it fits.
