I recently needed a new hitch on my truck and decided on this one. The hitch fits the truck as it should but I did have to drill two new holes due to the new hitch not being as long as the factory hitch. I was not impressed with the design of the factory hitch since it also bolted to the bumper and would not come off unless we removed the bumper. But we could not do that without cutting the brackets that attach to the bumper since they are welded to the frame of the main part of the hitch. Bad Toyota design in my opinion. So now I need to fabricate a new bumper.

Unfortunately this part did not fit my 2005 Tundra as it was listed. But Carparts graciously accepted the return of the product with a full refund.

After inquiring with some friends and some installers, I finally came to JCW. I should have STARTED here! I got the hitch for a great price, and the installation was simple, even with all 10 of my thumbs! It is exactly what I needed, and looks as though it will serve me for a long time.

The first hitch that came did not fit. This was a manufacturer error. JC Whitney sent out a new one immediately. They emailed all the necessary labels needed to send the original one back. Customer service went into high gear to get things right. The replacement worked fine. It took 20 minutes to install. Looks great.
