Relatively simple installation with help from YouTube videos. Snug fit, so a rubber mallet or hammer and a block of wood to get it in place. A worthwhile DIY installation. A second person would have been helpful, but it can be done solo.

Hi Allan, I'm glad to assist you. As per checking, this rear receiver hitch is not design to hold a winch. This rear hitch is designed to pull cargo such as small campers, boat/horse trailers or similar with a maximum gross trailer weight of 6000 lbs (please see 1st link below for the install guide details from Curt). A winch is normally placed on the front of your vehicle and requires a a mounting base. But if you are simply planning to put one on the rear of your vehicle, this rear hitch would not be compatible.
