This fit my 05 Tacoma perfectly.just get the spare tire out of the way and hit the bolts with some PB blaster and they will come out.It looks really heavy duty.

It seems you have ordered this part but was not able to install this on your vehicle. Please call Curt manufacturing for any install problems, their number is 877-287-8634. This is considering you have correctly selected your vehicle application(year, make, model, submodel and engine size) and looked up a hitch and got a guaranteed fit badge notification((in round green icon with a white check mark), but still, cannot install it. You can have it returned if it really does not work after confirming with Curt technical team.

The manufacturer doesn't specify the grade of the bolts, but the hitch does come with the necessary hardware that meets the product installation specifications.
