Question: Will this part work on a 2006 Hummer H3 with an automatic transmission?John W. / Jul 30, 2021
Hi John, I'm glad to assist you. Yes, this is compatible with automatic transmission. But one most important thing noted that you have to check is, if you have a passlock sensor switch on your ignition lock housing. This is for anti theft functionality. Question: 2006 Colorado WT, 4WD, 3.5L. Sometimes my key won't turn the ignition switch. It sticks in the Lock position leaving me stranded until I can coax it into working again. Is this a worn out switch or tumbler, or is it something to do with the security system?Mikie / Mar 22, 2025
Hi Mike, I am pleased to assist you. The 2006 Chevrolet Colorado WT 5 Cyl 3.5L key sticking issue is likely due to mechanical wear rather than the security system. To fix the problem, replace the cylinder or switch. If the issue is with the housing, consider replacing the ignition lock housing. If you are considering this part, it should work effectively for your vehicle. You can click the link below to order directly and take advantage of our current discounts while supplies last.
