Yes. I had to replace just the oil plug on my jeep wrangler. but since wrangler oil pans are steel you have to replace the whole lower oil pan. you do not need to replace the upper portion of the oil pan, but you may need to potentially get a oil pan gasket depending on your car make and model. fyi, if you have a 2007 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon jk, you do not need a gasket. you need some bonding sealant. don't have the name of it for you though, since my friend did the part change for me. i would check with your jeep or mopar dealers for that info.
