Easy to installPower Steering Assist Motor Module
5.0/5
Part came relatively fast. Was easy to install, 2 bolts. No more issues with my power steering. Had to buy the motor myself as the dealer is telling me the recall is not covered on my car.

Question: Hello again: On my 2005 2.2 Saturn Ion the wire connector seems really tight. Is there a secret latch? or do I just pull really hard??Roger S. / May 14, 2025
Hi Roger, thank you for reaching out. There is a “secret” latch - usually a small plastic tab on the connector - that you need to press or squeeze to release the connector on the AC Delco power steering assist motor module for your 2005 Saturn Ion. Do not just pull hard; instead, locate and press the latch to safely disconnect it. We hope this helps. Have a good one!
