Question: Do you need a front end alignment after installing on 2012 Silverado, front stabilizer links?Dillon G. / Dec 09, 2020
Hi Dillon, An alignment is not necessary after a sway bar install. You missed mentioning what type of Silverado you have, is it 1500, 2500 HD, or 3500 HD? To check for fitment, please enter your vehicle’s year, make, model, sub-model, and engine type, and type the part's name in the search box. Once your application is selected, you’ll see a “Guaranteed to Fit” badge if the part will fit, and we recommend that you also double-check Your Vehicle Fit Details as well as the Vehicle Fitment Information table on the product page.

No you don’t. The sway bar doesn’t affect your alignment, it only affects (helps prevent) body roll. No you don’t need an alignment after installing these.

Question: Will these cause front end shakin?Philip / Jul 31, 2024
Hi Phil, thank you for reaching out. Although worn-out sway bar links can sometimes cause steering wheel vibrations and create a rattling or knocking sound over bumps, there was no report of a vehicle front-end shaking due to worn-out sway bar links. We highly suggest a certified mechanic diagnose your vehicle to pinpoint the part needing replacement. Have a nice day.
