Question: I have a 2002 Dodge Durango. The engine revs up by itself when I turn it on then it dies. It started doing this one day that I turned it on and I heard a loud pop and smoke came out fŕom under vehicle. Is this likely the throttle position sensor and idle control sensor ?RudyG / Jul 17, 2023
Hi Roscoe, I'm glad to assist you. It is most likely the problem. The idle control valve is responsible for regulating the engine's idle speed. If it becomes faulty, clogged, or stuck, it can cause erratic idle behavior and stall. Grab our sale price and click the link below to buy it today. Happy shopping!
