The Common signs of a malfunctioning TPS include- lacking power when accelerating, rough or slow idle, stalling, inability to shift up, and the check engine light coming on. Still, we recommend having that carefully checked on your trusted local auto repair shop or the dealership.

Aside from this part, there may be other parts like ignition coil that could cause the issue. We highly recommend to have the vehicle diagnosed by a certified mechanic to pinpoint what part needs replacement.
