Item as described. Brand new OE A/C compressor. Fit the Trailblazer as described. I was very glad to be able to get a new one, rather than a reman. I just don't like using reman items.

I’ve put 4 new compressors on my K1500 of another brand and they would leak right away! This one has held up and has actually put out cooler air! I’m happy for once in several years!

Hi Tywan, I'm glad to assist you. All of our a/c compressors do not specify that technical detail anymore. The fitment info says it is an R4 type of a/c compressor. We can determine 100% fitment by the year, make, model, submodel, and engine size information. The complete VIN would be very helpful as well. Please provide the exact vehicle application.

Hi Jeff, I'm glad to assist you. Yes. Yes, it is pre-filled with a certain amount of oil. But manufacturers recommend that you drain the "shipping oil" and refill with the "proper PAG oil" ahead of installation and loading of the refrigerant to the a/c system. The other purpose of the added oil is to protect the compressor during its stay on the dealer's shelves, retailers' stores, and during transport.
