Compressor works great but in the installation guide in the box in very fine print easy to miss it says do not use an oil based flush when installing .. most over the counter flushes are oil based.

Hi Megan, I'm glad to assist you. This already comes pre-filled with the required oil needed, but you don't put refrigerant directly to this part. Refrigerant is typically added to an air conditioning (A/C) system through specific service ports or valves located on the A/C system components. Hi Megan, I'm glad to assist you. There is a small amount of compressor oil to protect the inside from rusting during its stay on the dealer's shelves, retailers' stores, and in the course of transport. But manufacturers recommend that you drain the "shipping oil." The vacuuming process of the A/C system would suck off the pre-filled oil before the proper amount of PAG oil and freon are loaded into the system (a/c charging).
