It’s a GM issue with the ABS control module and a cold solder joint that eventually triggers both the brake and ABS light. Brakes still work fine but here in Austin Tx both lights being on, beyond being an annoyance will prevent you from passing your vehicle yearly inspection. My mechanic replace the old one and with a small amount of module programming got the new one up and running and the lights are now out. 😊👍
