Hi Anthony, I'm glad to assist you. No, the ABS sensor will not affect the 4WD function of your vehicle. A bad ABS sensor causes the anti-lock brakes to be inoperable. Anytime a fault is noticed, the system triggers an alert, and the ABS warning light comes on. So ABS sensor is not necessarily the problem. We actually have a service manual by Haynes, with part number 24072. This would be able to help you identify the problem on your vehicle. Answered by Arnel E. / Tue, Apr 13The ABS sensor is what triggers your traction control, could be the ABS module or sensor causing your problem. An OBDII should be able to identify the issue.
