Question: Iv got a 1997 lincoln town car my overdrive light is blink ing and speed domator not working what part do i need ?Ronnie S. / Feb 28, 2021
Hi Ronnie, So a check engine light is showing for a problem to be addressed. Yes, the speed sensor on the transmission could possible be defective already by now if you have not replaced that for a long period already. This is matching the factory original transmission; transmissionmfrcode : 4R70W. Still it is best to have your vehicle checked by a certified mechanic for a careful and extensive troubleshooting to isolate the part or parts to be replaced.
