The 2020 Chevrolet Blazer is getting new styling upgrades for the upcoming model year, according to the brand’s representatives.

After 14 years, the model has been reintroduced in the market as a mid-size crossover that caters to the modern needs of consumers. And unlike its predecessor, the new Chevy Blazer does not have a body-on-frame construction. Instead, it was built on the same platform as the GMC Acadia.

The remodeled Blazer went on sale earlier in 2019 with a base price of $29,995 for the entry-level L trim.

According to GM Authority, the Chevrolet Blazer is getting the Redline Edition for the 2020 model year. This particular edition has been previously made available for other Chevrolet models such as the 2018 Chevrolet Cruze, 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, and 2018 Chevrolet Trax. And like all these models, the special edition Blazer will also feature visual upgrades that should make it stand out in the crowded mid-size crossover segment.

The newly introduced Chevrolet Blazer is supposedly getting the Redline Edition for the 2020 model year.

According to GM Authority, the Redline Edition package for the 2020 Blazer will be available in the mid-range 2LT and 3LT trim levels.

While there are still no photos of the special edition Blazer, it will include 20-inch aluminum wheels with a Gloss Black finish and red trim accents. A black Blazer badge with a red outline, as well as a black AWD badge with red outline will also be available. Other features include a black grille, header bar, window surrounds, sideview mirror caps and mirror stalks, door handles, front and rear Bow Tie badging, and decals.

The Redline Edition will be replacing the Black Grille Package and the standalone black Bow Tie emblem package. Consumers who want to have the special edition for their Blazers must also have the Jet Black interior and the exterior colors of Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, or Black.

The Chevrolet Blazer’s new Redline Edition is expected to be available sometime in 2020.
