The Apple car is rumored to have deep iOS integration. Next-Gen CarPlay, which was unveiled with iOS 16, might be a preview of how the Apple car may work. This new version of CarPlay will let a user’s iPhone take over all of their car’s screens (not just the infotainment system) and even control features like climate control.

2022 GMC Hummer EV

The Hummer brand makes a comeback as an all-electric pickup truck.
Available in four trims: Hummer EV², Hummer EV^2X, Hummer EV^3X, and Hummer Edition 1.
The 2022 Hummer EV is reborn as a crew cab pickup truck with a blocky exterior and a sunroof that can be removed. Its subdued color scheme, moon-inspired touches, and center-mounted touch screen follow a lunar aesthetic, alluding to the time when GM worked on the Apollo program.
Features a powertrain with three electric motors that generates up to 1,000 horsepower and approximately 11,500 lb-ft of torque
GM’s new Ultium battery-pack technology gives the Hummer EV an equivalent of 329 miles-per-gallon on a single charge.
Offers unique features like Crabwalk and Extract Mode. Crabwalk lets the vehicle travel diagonally at slow speeds by turning its rear wheels by ten degrees, while Extract Mode raises the vehicle’s suspension for a better off-road experience.

2023 Tesla Roadster

The second-generation electric roadster was first revealed in 2017 but supply issues caused production to be delayed.
The 2023 Tesla Roadster will be available in two trims: Base and Founder’s Edition.
In 2017, Elon Musk claimed that the roadster could achieve a top speed of more than 250 MPH, making it a full second quicker than the McLaren 570S.

2022 Rivian R1S

First-wave Rivian customers were informed that their R1Ss will arrive in March of 2022, even though the majority of the deliveries are scheduled to arrive in the summer and autumn of 2022.
All versions come standard with all-wheel drive and adjustable air suspension, allowing for a ground clearance range of 8 to 14.5 inches.
The 2022 Rivian R1S and the 2022 Rivian R1T share a lot of the same styling and specs. The latter is an all-electric pickup truck.

The base model features a single electric motor that produces 480 horsepower, while the rest of the lineup features dual electric motors that range in horsepower between 620 and 1111, depending on the trim. Lucid claims that the Air can finish a quarter-mile in 9.9 seconds at 144 MPH, which is incredibly fast for supercar standards.
The most efficient model gets 131 MPGe, while the Dream Air Performance trim gets 111 MPGe.
The Lucid Air was named the #1 Luxury Electric Vehicle of 2022 by Motortrends.
The 2022 Lucid Air has a sculpted body and clean lines like an aircraft. This minimizes wind resistance and drag, which boosts the car’s efficiency. The Air’s cabin features creature comforts like massaging seats, a retractable lower touchscreen, and other ergonomic accessories that would feel right at home in a full-size sedan. 2024 Chevrolet Silverado RST EV

Hyundai IONIQ 5

Available Since: 2021 Base Price: $39,950

Can rack up 303 miles on a single charge, the highest range of any Hyundai EV.
Hyundai claims the IONIQ 5 can get a driving range of 68 miles in five minutes when plugged into a DC fast charger.
Available in rear-wheel and all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive model with a long-range battery has a combined EPA rating of 114 MPGe, while the all-wheel drive model reduces that figure to 98 MPGe.
Won World Car of the Year award in 2022, beating out German luxury electric cars. It also took home the World Electric Vehicle of the Year and World Car Design of the Year awards.
Its signature parametric pixel design gives it a fresh and futuristic appearance.

2023 Cadillac LYRIQ

Cadillac’s first all-electric SUV ditches internal combustion engines for electric dual-motors and long-lasting batteries.
The 2023 LYRIQ is available in rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options. The latter will be available in early 2023 for $64,990.
The rear-wheel drive model has an impressive range of 312 miles, 19.2 kW AC charging that enables 52 MPH, approximately 340 horsepower, and 325 lb-ft of torque.
The all-wheel drive model has pending range estimates, 11.5 kW AC charging that enables 37 MPH, approximately 500 horsepower, and comes with a trailering package.
The 2023 LYRIQ uses the GM’s Ultium platform to get a more balanced weight distribution and a lower center of gravity for more spirited driving.
Cadillac designed the LYRIQ with a futuristic focus, adding LEDs to its grille, lights, and emblem. Sportier lines also make the LYRIQ stand out from conventional SUVs.

2023 BMW i7

BMW’s fully-electric flagship luxury sedan was developed alongside the next-generation 7-series.
Equipped with two electric motors that produce 536 horsepower
BMW claims that the i7 can hit 60 MPH in 4.5 seconds, quite brisk for a large vehicle.
All-wheel drive is standard, but an optional Executive Lounge package can be added to make the vehicle more like a limo.
Those who’ve tested the vehicle claim that it has a smooth ride and quiet cabin.

2025 Chrysler Airflow

Expected Arrival: 2024 Base Price: $50,000

Chrysler has unveiled its concept for a new electric car, which will be available as early as 2024.
Promises to deliver a range of 400 miles, which rivals the long ranges of EV competitors Tesla and Ford
Its dual-motor setup is estimated to produce 201 horsepower, though no official figures have been published by the manufacturer.
Available in three trims: Touring, Limited, Pinnacle
Equipped with standard safety and driver assistance technology as well as Level 3 autonomous driving

2022 Audi Q4 e-tron

Audi’s Q4 series comes with a bevy of safety and driver assistance features.
Available in six trims: Premium, Premium Plus, Sportback Premium, Sportback Premium Plus, Prestige, and Sportback Prestige
Equipped with a single motor and rear-wheel drive that generates 201 horsepower. Its performance is comparable to the Volkswagen ID.4.
77 kWh battery pack offers a driving range of 241 miles. A 30-minute charge can get the battery up to 80 percent.
Audi’s infotainment system is contained inside a 10-inch touchscreen. An augmented reality heads-up display is also offered to keep the driver’s attention on the road.

2023 Lagonda All-Terrain

Designed as an emissions-free, off-road luxury car
Aston Martin claims that the Lagonda’s interior will be limousine-like, with rotating front seats and enough space to accommodate both passengers and cargo.
Apart from standard driver assistance technology, the Lagonda will include a futuristic floating key feature.

DeLorean Alpha 5 EV

The Alpha 5 gives an all-electric twist to the classic DeLorean of the 1980s.
The new DeLorean is a curvier four-seater that retains its iconic gull-wing doors and sloped design.
DeLorean Motor Company claims that the base model can reach 60 MPH in 2.99 seconds and a top speed of 155 MPH.
The base model is equipped with a 100-kWh battery that has a driving range of 300 miles on a full charge.
The Alpha 5 will be revealed in Pebble Beach on August 21, 2022.

Arrival EV

The Arrival EV is an electric car concept by Uber and EV brand Arrival.
The Arrival car’s boxy silhouette is reminiscent of the Toyota Noah but with a futuristic twist. The design team brought the driver’s seat as close as possible to the extended windscreen for better visibility. Because the driver’s seat was pushed forward, the back of the car offers more legroom than a Rolls Royce.
The front passenger seat can be folded underneath the dashboard to open up more space for passengers.
Dashboard features, such as navigation, temperature settings, and bluetooth connection, are centralized into one touchscreen display. Riders can see the name and photo of both the driver and passenger when they begin their journey.
The Arrival car is currently being tested for feedback before going into production. The car's release date has yet to be announced.

Winnebago e-RV

Major RV manufacturer Winnebago announced its concept of an all-electric zero-emissions motorhome at the start of 2022.
Based on the Ford Transit, the Winnebago e-RV features an electric power system that powers the drivetrain, vehicle controls, and onboard amenities. Its 86-kWh battery has a driving range of 125 miles.
Amenities include a toilet and detachable shower head as well as a marine-grade refrigerator and slide-out induction cooktop.
The e-RV features an eco-friendly interior with cork-rubber flooring and woolen walls to improve thermal and wall insulation.

2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV

Available Since: Summer 2021 Base Price: $31,500

One of the most affordable EVS on the market, the 2022 Chevy Bolt is $5,000 cheaper than its predecessor.
Uses the same electric motor and battery as the 2021 Chevy Bolt, which generates a range of 259 miles.
The 2022 Bolt’s electric powertrain can produce 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque, reaching 0-60 MPH in 6.5 seconds.
Rated at 131 MPGe city/109 MPGe highway
