How Much Is a Pagani Car?

Pagani models can vary greatly in price, with the cheapest retailing for around $2.2 million. However, the most expensive Pagani costs around $17.5 million. This hefty price tag belongs to the Zonda HP Barchetta.

There are only three in existence, one of them owned by Pagani Zonda founder Horacio Pagani. Under the hood, this rare vehicle comes with a 7.3-liter naturally aspirated V-12 engine that can produce around 790 brake horsepower.

It’s a sleek roofless sports car with aluminum wheels that’s as pricey as it looks. In fact, it’s currently one of the most expensive cars in the world.

What Are the World’s Most Expensive Cars?

Here’s a list of the most expensive cars in the world and how much they cost brand-new:

Bugatti Bolide

Price: $4.6 million

Capable of producing around 1580 horsepower, the Bugatti Bolide is a track-only sports car. The Bolide has a powerful quad-turbocharged W-16 engine along with Bugatti’s signature horseshoe-shaped radiator grille.

Only 40 Bolides were ever produced, making it a difficult hypercar to get your hands on.

Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

Price: $4.8 million

“Trevita” is an abbreviation of Swedish words that translate to “three whites,” a fitting name for Koenigsegg’s CCXR sports car that’s known for its beautiful silver-white body. The CCXR Trevita’s body is coated in a unique fiber solution that sparkles like tiny white diamonds. It also features an impressive 1018-bhp engine with a 0 to 62 time of 3.1 seconds.

There are only two Trevitas in existence, with one owned by professional boxer Floyd Mayweather.

Pagani Huayra Imola

Price: $5.4 million

Known for its impressive speed, the Pagani Huayra Imola is a product of nearly 10,000 miles of testing on the Imola Circuit. It comes with a powerful Mercedes-AMG V-12 engine, an active aerodynamics system, and a reworked suspension geometry. It’s one of the most impressive vehicles in Pagani’s lineup, and there are only five in existence.

Bugatti Divo

Price: $5.9 million

Marketed as an upgraded version of the iconic Bugatti Chiron, the Bugatti Divo features an improved suspension and a lighter body. It features an 8.0-liter W-16 engine that can produce around 1,500 horsepower. While it has limited storage compartments, it has a sleek interior with an asymmetrical black and blue color scheme.

Bugatti only produced 40 of this sports car, all of which were sold through a special dealer invitation.

Bugatti Centodieci

Price: $9 million

With only 10 in existence, the Bugatti Centodieci is one of the rarest cars in the world. Centodieci translates to “110,” which pays homage to Bugatti’s EB110.

The Bugatti Centodieci has a quad-turbocharged W-16 engine, improved aerodynamics, and a new five-aperture air intake. It’s also 44 pounds lighter than the Chiron, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 2.4 seconds.

Rolls-Royce Sweptail

Price: $13 million

Until 2019, the Rolls-Royce Sweptail was known as the most expensive car in the world. This two-door coupe featured a smooth curved roofline and a massive aluminum grille. From its sleek blue body and drink cooler, the Sweptail’s design is reminiscent of classic and modern yachts.

Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta

Price: $17.5 million

As mentioned earlier, the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta is one of the most expensive sports cars in the world. Its name is short for Horacio Pagani, the company’s founder. Pagani first revealed the hypercar at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance as a birthday gift to him.

Bugatti La Voiture Noire

Price: $18.7 million

Bugatti scores yet another entry on this list with the La Voiture Noire, a hypercar inspired by Jean Bugatti’s 57SC Atlantic. Its quad-turbo W-16 engine produces 1,500 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque. Despite these impressive numbers, however, the La Voiture Noire isn’t track-oriented. It’s designed to be a grand tourer that rivals the comfort of a limousine.

Rolls-Royce Boat Tail

Price: $28 million

The Rolls-Royce’s Boat Tail follows the Sweptail’s footsteps. This expensive convertible features a long body with an elegant vintage design that was once again inspired by yachts. It has a housing suite, a built-in sun umbrella, and champagne coolers for that luxury cruise feel. Under the hood, it comes with a twin-turbo V-12 engine that produces around 560 horsepower.

Like most Rolls-Royce models, the Boat Tail is a limited-edition vehicle, with only three in existence.

Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail

Price: $30 million

With a price tag of $30 million, the Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail is currently the most expensive car in the world. This two-seater has a beautiful deep red body, inspired by the French Black Baccara rose. The interior is just as impressive, with hand-stitched leather seats and wood veneer accents.

Under the hood, the Droptail boasts a 6.7-liter V-12 engine that can produce a little over 590 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque.

Why Are Rolls-Royce Cars So Expensive?

Unlike most car manufacturers, Rolls-Royce doesn’t mass produce their vehicles. Production of a Rolls-Royce car begins after a customer places an order. This allows Rolls-Royce to focus on each detail, so customers can receive their expensive vehicle in top condition.
