Question: Hi my 1985 VW Scirocco has a blower motor housing that is integrated into the heater box. It also has a wiring harness with 5 wires leading to a resistor (?) , then to the brushes for the motor. The image on this listing shows only two wires and a housing that seems to be separate from the heater box, yet it says it is guaranteed to fit. Answered by Grace G. / Mon, Apr 05All of the diagrams I have show the same blower motor for all the years of convertibles and cabriolets (80-89, I think). I have a non-ac convertible (82) and it simply plugged in. On my fuse panel, there is a spot for an air-conditioning relay and fuse for the blower motor. There is no relay specifically for the blower motor.
