Great part, that’s perfect for my 2016 equinox. Be sure to not over tighten the bolts tightening too much and you will compress the metal on the bumper and when turning will widen the diameter of the hole. No knock on the bumper that’s the way all these things are. I also bought the rear one. It works great too.

As per checking, this item does not come with installation hardware. We suggest getting those locally through a local auto supply store or the dealership.

Hi Dave,
The hitch usually bolts to the chassis portion not the rear bumper reinforcement. If the hitch you purchased is really installed to the rear bumper reinforcement, you probably have to drill holes on the reinforcement bar.
