Ordered for my 2001 4Runner with california emissions (2 cats). The flange has a pipe in the middle that exceeds and inserts into an opening on the headers. I believe that this piping sticks out too long, and caused a pretty gnarly gap between the flanges (OEM cats has a flush seal). The predrilled holes on the new Cat flange did not fit the header studs and caused some issues. Had to extend/widen all holes for it to even allow the studs to insert. 1 Week later and it is still holding up well. Pretty happy with the outcome, and some modifications are expected as it is a 25+ year old car.

Hi Alex, I'm happy to assist you. We don't have the actual dimension of the studs for the lower flange. However, I was able to get the part number for the stud. The part number is 28532-21314. This catalytic converter is not certified for use in US states with 50-state emission law. This item is only for US states that has uses Federal type emission.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Wed, Sep 30The way I understand it is there not enough platinum in the honeycomb to effectively burn off all of the sunburnt gas. But our o2 sensor tells our computer that the gases are burnt off.

Check the Vehicle Emission Control Information sticker, usually found underneath the hood, to see if it matches the emission control specifications.
