Ordered for my 2001 4Runner with california emissions (2 cats). The flange has a pipe in the middle that exceeds and inserts into an opening on the headers. I believe that this piping sticks out too long, and caused a pretty gnarly gap between the flanges (OEM cats has a flush seal). The predrilled holes on the new Cat flange did not fit the header studs and caused some issues. Had to extend/widen all holes for it to even allow the studs to insert. 1 Week later and it is still holding up well. Pretty happy with the outcome, and some modifications are expected as it is a 25+ year old car.

Answered by Aldrin P. / Tue, Jan 26Normally, three componets responsible for engine light, cat code. Upper and Lower 02 sensor and the catalytic converter. My mechanic said i needed a catalytic converter. Since it is a difficult job to replace, it was recommended to replace upper 02. Worked for me. 2006 maxima.
